It is July 28th. Too early to think about Christmas?
Not in my industry. At 9.05am this morning I got a call from Leeds United Football Club, whom I work for a lot during the football season. This call however was about Christmas Day and went along the lines of ‘Last year was great, can we book it in again?’ I had a lot of fun last year, I don’t have children of my own and so taking a couple of hours out of my day to entertain all the families at Elland Road before their dinner was a lot of fun and I gladly booked them in again. I will be there from 12-2pm this year so if that’s where you are having your Turkey and Christmas Pud (not on the same plate I hope) then I will make sure I say hello.
In fact this month has been the real start of the Christmas party magic bookings. Most of my regular clients re-book either on the night or in early January but for some reason July is the time when new clients get in touch. A table magician or a close-up magician is a great addition to a Christmas party. I don’t think that is a big secret anymore but having some visual magic right in front of your guests eyes really does get the party going until the DJ drops the M Bomb (Mariah Carey in case you were wondering) and everyone shuffles to the dancefloor in orderly fashion. I still have some availability in December and would love to be at your event so if you are having a Christmas Party in Leeds, Manchester or anywhere else in the UK then get in touch and I’ll be there. I find it hard to turn down a buffet with pigs in blankets
